Job Description : SENIOR BUSINESS MANAGER CONAKRY GUINEA An exciting new opportunity for a Senior Business Manager has just opened at a multinational manufacturing organisations in Guinea. About the role: The role is based in Guinea Conakry. The group company is into Manufacturing of Plastics products, Paint, carry bags, PVC pipes. It also has a trading house which deals in a broad range of products i.e., Motorbikes, Automobile Oil, Tyres, Tractors, FMCG, Textile, Agriculture implements etc.The main role of the Senior Business Manager will be entrusted with the pivotal responsibility of overseeing the entire business segment, encompassing Automobiles, Agro, and other trading ventures. Responsibilities: • The Senior Business Manager is responsible for overseeing all business segments, including automobiles, agro, and other trading ventures. • Responsible for setting strategic directions and ensuring the growth and profitability of these diverse businesses. • Manage profit and loss (P&L) for the various business segments. Analyse financial data to make informed and strategic decisions by implementing cost-control measures and revenue-enhancing strategies. • Utilise profound knowledge of the automobile industry, including various segments such as 2&3 wheelers, Heavy Commercial Vehicles (HCV), Tractors, and automotive parts and spare markets, to drive business success. • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards in the operation of the business segments. • Identify and mitigate risks that could impact the business segments' performance and profitability. Candidates Requirements: • Engineering degree or equivalent experience with comprehensive understanding of the automobile sector, including various segments such as 2&3 wheelers, Heavy Commercial Vehicles (HCV), Tractors, and automotive parts and spare markets, is required. • A qualification in Finance, Masters in Business Administration / Sales & Marketing from any Reputed University is required. • A minimum 15 years of experience in similar role in any reputed Firm / Business House with leading presence in Automobile Business, Agro / FMCG / FMCD or other diverse business lines. • The candidate should have preferably knowledge of Africa Automotive Business. • Must be able to speak or work in French.
