Job Description : EXPATRIATE CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER company with diversified interests in Agro-Allied, Shipping & Logistics, Manufacturing and Financial services across Nigeria and ECOWAS regions; and we recently opened our Dubai office to facilitate trading and documentation. The candidate, to be based in Lagos, Nigeria will oversee the aggressive scaling up of our extensive business investments – both home and overseas .JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:ü Provide strategic leadership for the company, and implement strategic policies of the Board in order to achieve the overall corporate vision. ü Expand the Logistics business to grow the volume of import and export container business.ü Further scale up our Agro-Allied business by harnessing export opportunities for sesame seed, hibiscus, soyabeans, etcü The candidate will be expected to have a reliable customer base for Export business to be leveraged upon immediately. ü Develop target-driven business strategies and plans to increase organization wide profitability.ü Lead, manage, mentor, and develop a strong performance-driven management team.ü Execute a phased backward integration strategy in line with corporate objectives. ü Must be able to meet revenue targets as set by the Board.PERSON SPECIFICATIONS• Must possess a good first degree in any relevant course. • An additional master’s degree or MBA is generally required but may be exempt if candidate has relevant professional qualification or cognitive experience.• Must have a strong knowledge of Export business within and around Northern Nigeria Region.• Should possess proven leadership, management, analytical and financial and strategic management skills.• Familiar with Logistics Industry and able to coordinate senior logistics professionals.• Must have at least 20 years post-graduation work experience (5 of which must be in similar capacity) within a similar organization in Nigeria.• The Ideal candidate must demonstrate track record of performance in increased profit and sustainable business growth.• Expatriates are strongly advised to apply.
