Procurement Engineer

Job Description : Engineer Procurement, UAE Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering. Proven experience in construction procurement, preferably in Oil & gas construction industry Strong negotiation and contract management skills. Familiarity with procurement SAP MM Module (Mandatory) Knowledge of construction principles and project management. Managing the procurement process for engineering projects, including sourcing and evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and equipment. Collaborating with project managers and engineers to determine project requirements and develop procurement strategies. Conducting market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities and pricing. Analyzing technical specifications and drawings to ensure accurate procurement of materials and equipment. Managing supplier relationships and resolving any issues or disputes that arise during the procurement process. Monitoring and tracking procurement activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Analyzing and optimizing procurement costs to achieve cost savings without compromising quality. Coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to project sites. Conducting regular supplier performance evaluations to assess their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements. Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in engineering procurement to drive continuous improvement. Work Location-(Abu Dhabi). Availability-immediate available to join.
