Job Description : LNG PROJECT PROCUREMENT MANAGER NIGERIA 20+ years experience · SPOC for the Projects and responsible end to end for Procurement of materials and Services for the project assigned. · Develop Project Procurement Strategy. · Preparation of Ordering plan and Delivery Schedule of major items for the project and alignment of the same with Project Schedule in consultation with PM and Category Group Lead · Challenge timelines for material availability and analyse floats available for procurement. · Contribute towards the Procurement Strategy for the Project in consultation CLB. · Knowledge of Risk Mitigation Strategies is important · Co-ordinate with PM for timely issue of MR, TQ, TBE, release of Holds etc. · Co-ordinate with Projects /Engineering for approval of documents · Finalise additional Supplier list wherever required · Identifying Equipment scope split within the Package in consultation with PM /Engineering · Co-ordinate and collate the risk related issues for discussions and mitigation by PM. · Establish Communication and Interface procedures · Establish the Reporting Formats and the frequency of reporting. · Establish sourcing philosophy, currency of Ordering. · Establishment of project specific protocols such as Taxes and Duties & documentation for the same, BG format, Letter of Credit etc. in consultation with F&A. · Preparation of Standard Commercial Terms & Conditions specific to the Project · In case Suppliers offer is not in line with available with Budget /Project Schedule, PPM shall take-up the same with PM in consultation with HOD C&P · Finalise the critical equipment that need additional Defect Liability period. · Monitoring dispatches along with all internal stake holders · Monitoring Pre-order and Post order Procurement progress · Monitor & Report cost · Status reporting to Projects & Management, attending review meetings with Client & other verticals and resolve all pending issues · Maintaining record of detention / demurrage charges paid at Port/Airport for PM to take-up with Client. · Collaborate with Category Buyers through Category Managers ,in obtaining project information and resolve issues if any with the other Verticals. · Maintain "Issue Register" for Procurement, support for Project Management Team for · Ensure receipt of necessary Import License / Permit etc. before arrival of goods. · Finalize the Folder Structure for Storage of Procurement Documents on Server. · Liase with CLB Buyers, Logistics ,MIS, to provide periodic project procurement related MIS to Project Management
