Job Description : PROJECT PURCHASE MANAGER NIGERIA 18+ years experience Project Purchase Manager [Projects - Bauxite Mining, Alumina Refinery, Aluminium Smelter) Roles and Responsibilities 1. Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for projects. 2. Build a Procurement Strategy and take responsibility for end-to-end Procurement of materials and Services for the project assigned. 3. Provide MIS for periodic project procurement to the project manager in coordination with buyers and logistics persons. 4. Collaborate with Category Buyers through Category Managers to receive the project information and resolve any issues with the other Verticals. 5. Coordinate with Project Manager, Finance & Accounting, Engineering, Desired Candidate Profile 1. Deep understanding of Procurement Procedures and technical knowledge of categories 2.Should have led a team of at least four people in Handling Project Procurement covering all categories. 3. Vendor Management and knowledge of various Market Trends and Vendors involved in the Project Globally. 4. Knowledge of Cost optimisation techniques 5. Managers & team members may need to use when in need (Driver salary, fuel and maintenance cost on to the company) Food / Dining • All three meals are provided on companys cost • Canteen with Indian cuisine & continental dishes) Medical Care • In Nigeria - Company takes care of all treatments provided locally in the companys full- fledged medical clinic that operates 24/7 • Medical Insurance – Up to INR 3 Lakhs up to Managers and up to 5 Laksh for HODs for self & direct family • Group Personal Accident Policy – As per the company’s guidelines Salary Processing - Overseas • Paid in the last week of every month • First salary is paid after 60 days ( in the third month). The two months salary is paid along with the full & final settlement at the time of service completion. • Assistance is extended by releasing advance against salary to meet family commitments in the first two months. Recoverable in the subsequent months in installments, Local Allowance • Single – Naira 30,000 per month • Families – Naira 100,000 per month • Paid in the first week of every month Work support accessories • Laptop, Mobile Handset & SIM provided by company & monthly recharge is done by companyWi-Fi connectivity at residence 24/7
