Job Description : HEAD OF FINANCE ABU DHABI Head of Finance for development and operational arm About the Role This newly created role will take ownership of an established team of Accountants and Finance Managers with a mandate to have oversight of all areas of financial reporting financial management and strategic planning This leadership role will also take ownership of all areas of financial governance and policy to ensure strong and timely reporting whilst also developing strong cash management principles From an external prospective this role will take ownership of all relationships linking to audit banking and any federal regulatory bodies Internally this role will be a critical point in managing relationships across all areas of the business in support of operations and any sales-based revenue generating functions The organisation deems finance as a value add function and its presence to assist in the growth of business through strong and robust financial analysis and planning for commercial and decision support a professionally qualified Chartered Accountant ACA ACCA CIMA or CPA with up to 12 years of experience post-qualified experience The successful candidate shall be expected to demonstrate a track record within a management position whilst also having exposure within the UAE or GCC to the retail segment with either development or operational background The role will demand a strong commercially driven understanding with an ability and gravitas to manage relationships and influence across the top level of management These criterion are non-negotiable and such soft skills are deemed as an essential pre-requisite by the client The client will also look for a candidate whom has a strong network in place across the banking debt capital markets within the regional domain
