Group Chief Financial Officer

Job Description : GROUP CFO DUBAI a leading commodities shipping and trading house to bring a Group CFO to their team. Ideal candidate will be a tenured CFO with exposure to commodities, fundraising, and acquisitions. Responsibilities: 1. Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A): Identify, evaluate, and execute potential M&A opportunities that align with the company's growth strategy. Conduct comprehensive due diligence, financial modeling, and risk assessments to support M&A decisions. Lead negotiations, deal structuring, and integration efforts post-acquisition. 2. Group Consolidations: Oversee the group's financial consolidation process, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards. Implement best practices in financial reporting and consolidation across the organization's subsidiaries and business units. Drive efficiency and transparency in the group's financial operations. 3. Fundraising: Develop and execute a fundraising strategy, including debt, equity, and other financial instruments, to support the company's growth objectives. Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, lenders, and financial institutions. Prepare and present compelling financial presentations and materials to potential investors and partners. 4. Financial Strategy and Planning: Collaborate with the executive team to formulate and execute financial strategies that align with the company's overall goals. Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making and drive operational efficiency. 5. Risk Management and Compliance: Monitor and manage financial risks, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards. Implement robust internal controls and financial policies to safeguard the company's assets and interests. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA/CPA preferred). Proven track record of successful M&A transactions and experience with post-merger integration. Extensive experience in group consolidations and financial reporting for complex organizations. Demonstrated expertise in fundraising, including equity/debt financing and investor relations. Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
