Job Description : MATERIALS AND LOGISTICS MANAGER SINGAPORE A fast-paced Materials and Logistics Manager - Oilfield Equipment job opportunity within the oil and gas industry has come up. The company is an international oilfield equipment manufacturer based in Singapore. They supply to any of the oil majors in the industry as well as other equipment and service providers in the industry. About t:he Materials and Logistics Manager - Oilfield Equipment Role: As an experienced manager, you will balance the materials and finished good planning function, logistics arrangement, purchasing, and warehousing in a manufacturing setting. You will have direct and indirect reports from all the mentioned functions and will report into the Plant Manager. This role will require you to solve existing issues in the planning and logistics process as well as bring in best-practices from your past experiences to ensure on-time delivery and high-levels of customer satisfaction. Be a master scheduler in charge of capacity planning for Singapore production Raw materials planning and liaising with suppliers to ensure availability and minimal to no-delay Lead and supervise a team of direct reports in the purchasing, planning, warehousing, and logistics function Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely delivery to customers Work together with all other functions in quality, manufacturing, and supply chain to determine key success factors To be successful in this Materials and Logistics Manager - Oilfield Equipment role, you will need an end-to-end understanding of the supply chain process in an equipment and spare-parts manufacturing setting. At least eight years in a managerial position leading the supply chain, manufacturing operations in the oil and gas industry Bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred, and APICS certification is nice to have Strong communication skills and well-spoken English as this role will liaise with international offices and manufacturing plants
