Chief Financial Officer

Job Description : CFO SOLAPUR INDIA a chemical manufacturing MNC, with business interests across continents. They have a strong foothold in the India market and are looking for a tenured CFO from a similar set up, employed with a reputed API or specialty chemicals manufacturing MNC. As Finance Director, you would be responsible for all finance related activities for the Indian business. Your key responsibilities would be as follows - 1. Work in partnership with the top management team to drive growth and performance of the business. Contribute to the strategic direction of the overall business 2. Co-ordinate the planning process, incorporate financial planning for further growth and expansion. Assess and fully understand the financial requirements of these plans 3. Review the business case for any major investment decisions in light of the Group strategy 4. Ensure accuracy, integrity and timeliness of financial reporting and ensure compliance with any relevant reporting standards 5. Review performance and forecasts of the plants and challenge the Management team members where necessary for improved operational performance 6. Implement solid rolling forecast and budgeting processes, in line with company targets and guidelines 7. Implement very strong Cash Management culture 8. Identify opportunities for cost savings and drive associated restructuring projects due to low margins of any business line 9. Establish and maintain strong relationships with the leadership team, providing accurate and relevant information 10. Build strong relationships with other key external advisors including finance advisors, audit partners, tax advisors, and lawyers 11. Standardise and control the treasury operations and control 12. Ensure the company's tax charge is optimised but remains in line with legal requirements The ideal candidate would be a CA / Cost Accountant with 15-20 years of experience within API or specialty chemicals as CFO or Head - Plant Finance for large manufacturing set ups. You should be a strong business partner and have experience in interacting with stakeholders in Europe / US. Strong experience in SAP / IFRS and IND AS is a plus point. You should be willing to relocate to Solapur (No work from home / hybrid). Opportunity to lead Finance function for a global MNC in the chemical manufacturing industry.
