Job Description : GROUP FINANCE MANAGER LUMBASHI DRC Group Finance Manager Qualification : CA Roles and Responsibilities:- CONSOLIDATED GROUP MIS INCLUDING MONTHLY FINANCIALS. OPTIMAL USAGE OF GROUP RESOURCE ESP. FUNDS. IMPLEMENT POLICIES AND PROCEDURES CONSISTENT ACROSS THE GROUP. RESTRUCTURING OF COMPANIES / GROUP’S : CAPITAL, BANK LOANS, INTER – CO. BORROWINGS, WORKING CAPITAL, ETC. THOROUGH KNOWLEDGE OF ACCOUNTING PACKAGES ESP. TALLY; SOUND IN EXCEL · Manages and coordinates company's financial function including general accounting, monthly Closing, Tax, and payment in accordance with corporate policies and procedures · Review of monthly balance sheet account reconciliations . · Reviews all invoices for vendor payment with cost controller . Makes daily a payment list for vendor payments. · Consolidating business financial performance, budgets, and forward-looking forecasts. · Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure.. Assist the Controller in the daily banking requirements. · Should be able to independently handle statutory audit · Building the financial models and the reporting and analysis of business unit. · Identify, analyses and communicate current trends and their impact on forward-looking financial forecasts and investigate variances against historic and forecasted results to facilitate decision-making towards the Group strategic plan · Own the delivery of the month-end and quarterly reporting including management packs, revenue performance reviews, variance analysis and contextual commentary for submission to the Senior Leadership team. · Ad hoc duties as required by the business. Education / Qualifications · 15 years’ experience working in a similar role · Candidate should be a qualified CA Experience in preparation of financial statements with notes to accounts · Experience working within a group reporting function is essential · Advanced Microsoft Office skills – Advanced excel .
