Regional Procurement Manager

Job Description : REGIONAL PROCUREMENT MANAGER SPAIN Candidate must be eligible to work in the EU An excellent Regional Procurement Manager role has become available at an important Chemical multinational Company in Barcelona. In this strategic position, as a Regional Procurement Manager, you will report to the Global Procurement Director and will drive the operations category spend and projects locally and globally. Key functions: • Manage Operations category spend: managing of all global supplier contracts covering goods and services (MRO, machinery, installations, industrial supplies, engineering, energy and construction services). • You proactively define sourcing strategy for each spending category together with the internal stakeholders. Secures best Optimal Total Cost of Ownership, compliance with company policies for Procurement, Sustainability, Code of Conduct etc. • Ongoing Spend Management: Defines roadmap of tendering process and secures best possible agreements under the consideration of Total Cost of Ownership. Drives continuous improvement on payment terms and conditions. Ensures compliance to defined company policies for Procurement and Sustainability. • Improvement Projects: Drive/support pipeline of projects of the category for continuous improvement. Keep track of supply market improvements and facilitate the incorporation of best practices. With a degree in Chemistry or Engineering, you will provide more than 8 years of experience as a Regional Indirect Procurement Manager. It is mandatory to speak fluent English and Spanish.
