Investment Director

Job Description : INVESTMENT DIRECTOR UAE • Proactively source and assess potential investment opportunities in the metals and mining sector. • Conduct comprehensive due diligence, financial modeling, and risk assessments. • Evaluate the feasibility and alignment of investment targets with fund objectives. • Lead the structuring and negotiation of investment transactions. • Prepare investment memoranda and present recommendations to the investment committee. • Collaborate with legal, financial, and technical experts to ensure a smooth execution process. • Oversee the performance of existing portfolio companies. • Develop and implement value creation strategies for portfolio assets. • Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscapes to make informed decisions. • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred. • Extensive experience (typically 10-15+ years) in private equity or investment banking with a focus on metals and mining. • Exposure to African markets is a plus • Proven track record of successful deal sourcing, execution, and portfolio management in the metals and mining sector. • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills. • Excellent leadership and team management abilities. • Exceptional communication and presentation skills. • In-depth knowledge of the metals and mining industry and market trends.
