Engineering Manager

Job Description : Engineering Manager (Independent Power Projects Division) for a leading sulphuric acid plant in Nigeria Experience: 10+ years Education Qualification : BE / B. Tech – Electrical / Electronics Engineering or Similar • Continuous operation of current assets (gas generators) at clients’ sites with minimal downtime and breakdown maintenance with a pipeline of projects under development. • Detail oriented with ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues arising in generators and panels • Experience on a wider range of gas generator sets such as MWM, Caterpillar and Kirloskar • Regular and periodic maintenance on Jenbacher, MWM, Perkins Gas Generator Sets of 1+ MVA • Setting up and being involved in commissioning of such generator sets • Monitoring operations of such generator sets. • Completing electrical panel connections and troubleshooting where such issues arise. • Sound knowledge on DIA.NE XT series software. • Good knowledge about Synchronization System with Grid & Gensets. • Capability to lead the O&M team and Spare Parts Management. • Clarke Energy’s experience would be advantage. • Procurement and setting up of new gas generators at client sites. • Planning, ordering, and maintaining all service and non-service (emergency parts) for generator sets. • Training and managing all generator operators at sites to ensure safe and smooth operations. • Training and managing full-service team to handle maintenance. • Conducting regular safety checks to ensure assets are protected from fault damages. • Meeting new clients to develop further business opportunities.
