Logistics Head

Job Description : LOGISTICS HEAD SE ASIA An exciting Head of SEA Logistics (x1 vacancy) has just become available at one of the most respected consumer goods company based in Rayong. Head of SEA Logistics will be in charge of overseeing and managing all logistics operations across South East Asia, including transportation, warehousing, distribution, customs and export import requirements. In this business critical role you will be responsible for defining the entire manage all logistics. You will also take the lead providing direction to all logistics, transportation, warehousing, distribution, customs and export import activities. Understand and capture logistics and service needs and requirements of the different business groups and entities across South East Asia and Asia Pacific Drive and lead strategic initiatives to optimise, enhance and reshape logistics organisation in the region Develop and implement logistics strategies, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and collaborate closely as well as influence other departments, suppliers and stakeholders to optimise operations and reduce costs without compromising service level or customer satisfaction Monitor regularly the global strategic service providers performance review and follow-up with continuous improvement plans, root-cause-analysis and corrective/preventive actions Lead appropriate risk analysis and assessments and taking action to minimise risk within the logistics, compliance and distribution network Ensure that customs and governmental processes, procedures and activities related to transportation and brokerage are performed and managed in connection with each country-specific regulations Participate in the definition of the global and regional logistics procurement budgets Ensuring best-in-class delivery performance from service providers within the entire logistics network Minimum of 10 years working experience in Logistics/Transportation field Bachelor's Degree or above in logistic management, supply chain management or equivalent Highly analytical, KPI driven and robust strategic mindset; Resilience Experience in organisation transformation is a big advantage Proven experience in logistics management within the South East Asia region Ability to work independently and to deploy detailed action plans from general objectives Strong interpersonal and leadership skills and capability of effectively manage projects & people Experience in project management and roll out, including but not limited to the organisational & people change management areas Proficiency in Microsoft Office Professional Suite Excellent command of both written and spoken English and one of SEA language Experience in SAP ERP system is a big advantage
