Finance Director

Job Description : FINANCE DIRECTOR THAILAND ( Open to expats with local experience) A rapidly expanding real estate company is looking for a talented Finance Director (x1 vacancy). Your main responsibility is to be involved in all aspects of financial tasks for the company. As a Finance Director, you will be responsible for developing financial and investment strategies for the company, working collaboratively with the executive team, CFO, CEO, and company board. You will define strategies and oversee the Financial Controller's tasks, including accounting, finance, and budgeting. Additionally, you will manage and create financial forecasts and budgeting reports and analyses. Develop financial and investment strategies for the company to drive business growth Oversee the Financial Controller's tasks, including accounting, finance, and budgeting, to ensure they are efficient and aligned with the company's financial strategy Manage and create financial forecasts and budgeting reports and analyses Establish strategies and take responsibility for risk management, ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards Provide financial and investment advice to the company's executives and board members Oversee and manage the company's tax-related activities, including planning and implementing efficient tax strategies Establish systems and plans for up-to-date data collection and coordinate with various departments to ensure appropriate data delivery Analyse business performance, conduct financial projections for the future, and assess business trends Coordinate with Program NAV and ICON teams in case there are changes that impact the company's transactions Monitor compliance with GAAP, TAS, TFRS, the revenue department, and customs department for accurate financial statements Control and review monthly and quarterly financial statements for accuracy and timeliness, following accounting and tax standards Develop employees' knowledge, skills, and abilities in all areas to align with the organisation's mission Perform other tasks assigned by management Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields, or equivalent Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting, finance, budgeting, and investment Strong financial analysis skills and a good understanding of the real estate business Confident, with strong leadership qualities, and possess skills in management, analysis, planning, and communication Proficiency in computer usage, including Microsoft Office and accounting software Good knowledge and understanding of ERP systems, GAAP, accounting standards (TAS), and financial reporting standards (TFRS) Knowledge of laws and tax regulations Ability to work under high pressure
