General Manager Operations

Job Description : GM OPERATIONS INDONESIA FOR FEEDMILL In this business critical role you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of poultry production and processing. You will also take involves a combination of strategic planning, operational management, and ensuring the efficient and safe production of poultry products. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve business objectives, including production targets, cost control, and quality standards Oversee and optimise poultry production processes, from breeding and hatchery operations to broiler farming and processing facilities Ensure that all poultry products meet quality and safety standards, including compliance with regulatory requirements Manage operational budgets effectively to minimise costs while maintaining production efficiency Coordinate the supply chain, including procurement of feed, equipment, and logistics for the transportation of poultry products to customers Recruit, train, and manage a team of supervisors, production staff, and technicians, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement Oversee maintenance and repair of equipment and facilities, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient use of resources Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to animal welfare, environmental regulations, and health and safety standards Use data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance operational efficiency Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to meet customer demands and foster positive relationships with clients Promote sustainable practices in feedmill/poultry farming and processing, including waste management and resource conservation To succeed in this role you will play a crucial part in ensuring the efficiency, quality, and possess a keen understanding of feedmill/poultry operations. Key Requirements: Bachelor's degree in agriculture, business, or a related field Proven experience in feedmill operations, with a minimum of 5 - 10 years in a leadership role Strong knowledge of feedmill/poultry industry best practices, regulations, and trends Excellent leadership and team management skills Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities Strong communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of budgeting and financial management
