Chief Operating Officer

Job Description : COO MAURITIUS FOR BANKING 20+ years experience The Chief Operating Officer is responsible to oversee the design, implementation and reporting on the Bank's business operating model for optimal efficiency. The COO works as a key member of the Operations leadership team and takes a leadership role in building, implementing, and overseeing all of the Bank's systems, processes, workflows, and procedures and ensure continuous improvement. PREREQUISITES: 1. Any qualification as acceptable by the bank or Degree in Banking related discipline, Finance and Management. 2. Over 15 - 20 years of work experience in Banking or Finance industry inclusive of 10 - 15 years in Senior Executive Management position in a commercial Bank. 3. Holds good experience in Operations along with IT (Technical/Digital Manager). 4. Cross Border Lending experience 5. Good Credit Risk Management and Lending background and experience. 6. Strong Communication and People Management, interpersonal and influencing skills to build strong business relationships, foster stakeholder engagement, create new partnerships and drive culture of collaboration and innovation. 7. Exceptional leadership and management skills with a focus on securing strategic partnerships, business planning, people and financial management. 8. Meeting other Fit and Proper Requirements for a Responsible person as set out by regulators including BOM. 9. Relevant professional certifications & membership professional associations will be an added advantage. SKILLS: 1. Exceptional track record of leadership 2. Superior project management skills 3.
