Senior Finance Director

Job Description : SENIOR FINANCE DIRECTOR CANADA Open to candidates worldwide Based in the Vancouver area, the Senior Director of Finance is to be responsible for developing and directing the company’s financial reporting and forecasting, and assume a critical role in developing and implementing the financial strategy and as part of the SLT. Serves as a financial advisor to the Senior Leadership Team for strategic planning purposes Oversees all aspects of accounting operations Assist in the structuring and planning of future M&A transactions and integrations Track synergy achievement and financial performance post integration Develop financial model and value creation strategy Develop appropriate tracking methods for revenue and expenses Assess organizational performance against both the annual budget and the company’s long-term strategy Lead and manage the budgeting process, to monitor progress and present financial metrics Gather financial data for analysis and forecasting with respect to profits, trends, costs and compliance Optimize cash flow and working capital Recruit, train, supervise and evaluate department Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting CPA Designation Minimum 15 years’ experience in a senior finance/accounting role, with M&A experience Proven track record of success facilitating progressive organizational change management in high-growth organizations In-depth knowledge of financial benchmarking, accounting, audit, tax compliance and other regulatory matters Strong action-oriented problem-solving skills
