Supply Chain and Logistics Head

Job Description : Head-Supply Chain & Logistics OMAN Purpose of the Role : Manage and lead the logistics operations Educational Qualification : Post Graduate or MBA with specialization in Supply Chain or Operations Management Age Group : Up to 50 years Experience in Years : Up-to 20 years of specific experience and minimum 5 years heading the department. Main Responsibilities · Demonstrate expertise in supply chain network design, end-to-end supply chain synchronization, sales & operational planning, inventory management · Strategic approach for logistics & distribution, order management-shipping, billings accounts receivable, customer service, TPLM & outsourcing · Lead all aspects of Logistics including Warehouse, Transportation, Capacity Planning, Logistics Supplier Governance, QA, HS&E and customization, People Management · Manage large-scale operations & inventory management for central warehousing, complex distribution logistics and order management · Leverage technology and apply leading business practices to enable cost effectiveness, service orientation, and responsive supply chains. · Manage all queries and requirements for Customs Clearance and coordinate accordingly with Legal, Regulatory, Internal Control, and other functions. · Ensure logistics operations are compliant with QA, HS&E, Legal, and Internal control requirements for the company/local market Preferred Experience · FMCG, Retail Industry, Sales & Distribution Organizations · Analytical Skills · Managed multi-brand/multi-SKU warehouse ( 10000 Pallet space) and /transportation operations in fast turnaround operations with a team size of 200-300 · Exposure to cold chain operation · Warehouse operations and governance · Transport planning and operations · Project Management · Supplier/vendor management · Hands-on experience with SAP/ERP System
