Finance Director

Job Description : FINANCE DIRECTOR TEHCNICAL ACCOUNTING UK This role is open to all suitably qualified candidates worldwide Managing a team and acting as a key leader within the controllership team, this Finance Director will be responsible for all external reporting, technical accounting and accounting policy setting. Responsibilities: • Implement new standards, maintaining accounting policies, and ensuring compliance. • Conduct commercial contract reviews and support commercial finance with technical accounting matters. • Act as point of knowledge for all technical accounting issues as they arise across the group. • Completion of accounting memos and Audit Committee papers. • Take ownership of global statutory accounts process and management of relationship with outsourced accounting providers and auditors. • Lead, mentor and develop a small team. Experience and qualifications: • ACA , ACCA or CA Qualified (or equivalent). • Strong US GAAP knowledge is essential, combined with excellent overall technical accounting skills. • Experience of working in a large, complex multinational in a group reporting or technical accounting role. • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
