General Manager 

Job Description : GM ZIMBABWE hardware/retail industry is looking for an experienced General Manager to join their team. Salary and Benefits: Negotiable. Main Responsibilities: The General Manager is responsible for the overall success of the four branches. Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales and profitability goals for all four branches. Manage budgets and expenses to ensure that all branches are operating within financial guidelines. Hire, train, and supervise all staff members. Oversee customer service to ensure that all customers have a positive experience. Manage inventory levels and ensure that all branches have the necessary stock to meet customer demand. Develop and implement marketing and promotional campaigns to attract new customers and increase sales. Track and analyse sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Prepare regular reports for upper management on the performance of all four branches. Key Skills: Strong leadership skills. Management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication skills. Attention to detail. Ability to work well under pressure. Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. Strong work ethic. 20 + years of experience in retail management, with a focus on hardware. Experience in buying and ordering stock. Degree in business management or a master’s in business administration.
