Regional Manager

Job Description : REGIONAL MANAGER DRC FOR PHARM A) Sales: 1) Responsible for topline sales of shops (about 5). The sales will be measured category-wise in the following categories: a) Branded products b) Generic products c) Local products d) Specialty products 2) Analyze opportunity gaps in the market/ shop performance and provide insights and guidance to the shop managers/local teams. 3) Manage pricing within corporate guidelines, so as to achieve both topline and bottom-line targets. 4) Ownership of clients: to be responsible for the top 50/100 clients in each shop and to ensure they are retained and achieve continued growth. B) Profitability: 5) To achieve the GP targets for each of the shops and cumulative for the assigned shops. 6) To manage the Expenses control, Manpower, Consumables, Electricity, Fuel, etc within limits defined. 7) Credit Control: control the credit given to select credit-worthy clients and ensure timely collections C) Stocks: 8) Demand Planning: to ensure that each of the shops has adequate stocks to meet the sales objectives and demand both in terms of depth (quantity of stocks) and width (no of SKUs). 9) Inventory Control & Physical inventory: Minimize the inventory loss due to breakage /expiry/shortage. Carry out stock rotation within the shops/depot so as to minimize expiries. 10) Logistics: to manage logistics/stock movements from warehouse to shops in the most cost effective way. 11) Competitive mapping for all products in terms of pricing and availability. 12) Execute corporate initiatives, i.e Loyalty campaign, Marketing campaign, etc,. 13) Review: Conduct weekly reviews of achievements vs targets with the shop managers and provide guidance for improving performance. 14) MIS Submission to management on fortnightly basis. INTERNAL CROSS WORKING RELATIONS (DEPARTMENTAL): Warehouse / Depots > Inventory Control team > Procurement & Logistics team Accounts & Finance team Should be any bachelor's degree with MBA only. Working experience must be 10-12 years in the same field. Experience in distribution set-up from the pharmaceutical industry.
