Costing and Budgeting Manager

Job Description : COSTING AND BUDGETING MANAGER GUINEA Role & responsibilities · Analyzing costs by studying historical data, identifying trends in expenses, and recommending cost-reduction strategies · Most essential duties will also involve carrying out cost accounting closing functions on a daily and weekly basis while developing and analyzing the general ledger and statements of finances every month. · Run the monthly cost forecasts and ensure all targets are met within the stipulated time. Ensure that there is an accurate recording of expenditure in the appropriate journals and ledgers. Monitoring the progress of projects to ensure that deadlines are met and objectives are achieved · Apportion costs between manifold units of production and management · Ensure the arrangement of cost of production to material costs, wages, and overhead costs · Prepare estimates of costs for unique products to establish prices of products and forecast production · Consolidate cost of manufacturing for payroll and distribution of inventory accounts · Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions. · Lead projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy. · Supporting the Supply Chain & Industrial Operations demands towards technology and liaising with the IT team and Management to evaluate and lead the implementation of effective and efficient systems. · Develop a dynamic and robust reporting platform to update Management about the financial status of Groups of Companies in West Africa on a scheduled basis. · Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and producing final reports or statements. · Providing leadership in creating a culture of risk management in the organization CMA/ICWA/CA with MBA Minimum 8 years Experience in Manufacturing Industry preferably Plastics or Paints. or Trading company Automotive, agro-commodities.
