Corporate HSE Manager

Job Description : Corporate HSE Manager QATAR Overall responsible for the department; Assist and coordinate with the HSE team and all personnel assigned to each division in establishing an overall company EHS management plan and requirements Implementation of the Integrated management systemin the department and related activities in the division and respective projects Recommending policies and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries Developing and updating safety policies to comply with government regulations and company standards Co-ordinate the implementation of the Safety and Environmental Management Plan Carry out regular inspections of the operational / project areas Verify the effective implementation of the systems through planned audits Assist at regular training talks, safety inductions and assist supervisors to develop area specific and generic toolbox meeting topics Provide advice on the development of Job Safety Environmental Analysis’ and operating standards Review Subcontractor safety performance Be familiar with all relevant statutory requirements and industry practices Evaluating the effectiveness of safety measures to ensure compliance with company policies Developing and implementing safety training programs for new hires or existing employees, including identifying potential hazards, providing instructions on proper procedures, and ensuring employees understand the importance of their role in ensuring safety · Conduct audits against the requirements of the project · Control further processing of nonconformities relating to unsafe and environmentally unacceptable practices Required Skills and Qualifications · Bachelor’s degree in safety management, engineering, or related field · NEBOSH/IOSH · 15 years of experience in corporate safety management · Proven track record of reducing workplace accidents and injuries · Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills · Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities · Age criteria is between 40 - 50 Salary: 15000 - 18000 QAR (All Inclusive) Contract Period – 1 year renewable Annual Leave – 30 days upon completion of 12 months service Air Ticket – TO and FRO upon completion of 12 months service Medical – As per Qatar labour law
