The Financial Controller manages the day-to-day operations of the Accounting Office. You will be responsible for managing all day-to-day finance and accounting operations including oversight of billing, receivables and regulatory and third-party payables. Responsibilities: · Overall responsibility to ensure accurate and timely billing for annual and quarterly bill runs · Complete month-end and year-end close of the income statement and balance sheet, reconcile accounts and handle general ledger analysis · Liaise with the different departments to ensure timely submission of billing for new clients · Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements · Assist with the external and internal audit process · Assist with financial policies and procedures · Assist with external reporting such as CIMA Class A quarterly reporting, Monthly stamp duty reporting, annual return, reinsurance accounting report etc. Requirements: · Qualified Accountant with post-qualified experience in the industry · Several years of experience in insurance industry · Thorough understanding and strong knowledge of IFRS and proficiency in financial statement analysis · Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office software packages; Proficient with Microsoft Excel · Proven analytical skills, demonstrating accuracy and attention to detail · Ability to complete multiple tasks against tight deadlines, able to prioritise and organise effectively Salary: up to US$120,000 per annum plus benefits.
