Job Description : Warehouse - In-Charge Location: Nigeria Industry: Steel 8+ years expereince Position Overview: As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehouse and logistics processes. You will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the daily activities related to the storage, loading, and unloading of steel tube mill and pipe products. Key Responsibilities: · Supervise Daily Operations: Manage and lead a team of warehouse staff in the loading and unloading of steel products, ensuring all tasks are performed safely and efficiently. · Product Quality: Ensure that products are handled and stored with care to maintain their quality and integrity. · Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular stock checks, and report discrepancies. · Safety Compliance: Ensure all warehouse activities comply with safety standards and regulations, identifying and addressing potential safety hazards. · Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with logistics teams to schedule deliveries, track shipments, and ensure timely dispatch of products to customers. · Team Training: Train and develop warehouse personnel to improve their skills and performance. · Reporting: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on warehouse activities, including inventory levels and productivity metrics. · Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control processes to meet or exceed industry standards. · Cost Management: Optimize warehouse operations to minimize costs and improve efficiency. · Vendor Relations: Establish and maintain good working relationships with suppliers and vendors to facilitate smooth material deliveries. · Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during warehouse operations. Prior experience in the steel industry, specifically with steel products like angle, channel, beam, and billets will be an advantage. Preferred candidate profile Any Graduate - B.com/BBA/BSC/BCA (Mandatory)
