Procurement Manager

Job Description : PROCUREMENT MANAGER DUBAI FOR ELECTRONICS MANUFACTURING 15+ years experience Procurement manager- Dubai Responsibilities: - Develop and implement a comprehensive procurement strategy aligned with the manufacturing facility's goals and budget. - Identify the equipment and parts required for production processes and collaborate with stakeholders to define specifications and technical requirements. - Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers in China and other relevant markets. - Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on their capabilities, quality standards, delivery timelines, and pricing. - Conduct supplier audits, site visits, and quality assessments to ensure compliance with standards and requirements. - Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers, ensuring favorable pricing, payment terms, and warranty agreements. - Coordinate with internal stakeholders, such as engineering, production, and finance, to ensure alignment on procurement requirements and schedules. - Track and monitor the status of purchase orders, resolving any issues or delays proactively. - Collaborate with logistics teams to coordinate shipping, customs clearance, and delivery of equipment and parts. - Implement cost control measures to optimize procurement expenses while maintaining quality standards. - Conduct price negotiations, leverage economies of scale, and explore cost- saving opportunities with suppliers. - Analyze supplier performance, cost variances, and quality issues to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction. - Maintain accurate records of contracts, purchase orders, and supplier agreements. - Review and negotiate contract terms, including warranties, service levels, and intellectual property rights. Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. - At least 10 years of experience in an electronics manufacturing industry. - Must be able to communicate effectively in Mandarin, both spoken and written, to manage suppliers in China. - Deep knowledge of procurement processes, sourcing strategies, and supply chain management principles. - Familiarity with equipment and parts sourcing from China, including customs regulations and shipping logistics. - Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain productive relationships with suppliers. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to evaluate supplier capabilities, pricing, and quality. - Proficiency in using procurement software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and productivity tools. - Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and logistics partners.
