Chief Operating Officer

Job Description : COO DUBAI Billion dollar real estate master developer in the UAE delivering successful communities across the UAE and investing into other ventures. Reporting to the Group CEO, you will be responsible for; · Conceptualise and create a detailed strategy for each business unit, reviewing monthly with BU Heads on it's implementation · Create a detailed P&L and budget for each BU along with the respective BU Heads, GHRD, GCFO and GCEO · Lead the brand innovation strategy and execution for all brands along with the central and BU marketing team; act as a key point of contact with media representing the organisation · Build the short to long term organisational structure with the GHRD and follow build the team to follow it's execution · Drive revenue targets and meet the set targets; perceptively forecast any downturns and ensure at all times set targets are met or adjusted · Ensure all brands are safe guarded against financial, legal, brand, process and other business risks · Build an honest and ethical culture and environment with an open communication bottom to top communication platform akin to the organisation · Ideally 20 years of corporate experience in strategy and operations; with the last 7 years in a leadership role · Must have lead multi functional teams · Ideally a strong family group, diversified conglomerate experience; otherwise from a large Retail, Hospitality or F&B group in a complex leadership role · Must have extensive UAE and Middle East experience · Examples of setting up and scaling BUs or leading a turnaround in a failing BU will be highly regarded Competitive package - In the top end of C suite packages in the region.
