Logistics and Supply Chain Head

Job Description : HEAD SUPPLY CHAIN AND LOGISTICS OMAN Strategic planning, operational leadership, project management & execution Budgeting & and financial management, risk management, and striving for continuous improvement Demonstrate expertise in supply chain network design, end-to-end supply chain synchronization, sales & and operational planning, inventory management Strategic approach for logistics & and distribution, order management-shipping, billings accounts receivable, customer service, TPLM & outsourcing Lead all aspects of Logistics including Warehouse, Transportation, Capacity Planning, Logistics Supplier Governance, QA, HS&E and customization, People Management Manage large-scale operations & and inventory management for central warehousing, complex distribution logistics, and order management Leverage technology and apply leading business practices to enable cost effectiveness, service orientation, and responsive supply chains. Implement cost-saving projects, and continually drive down inefficiencies, undertake projects to improve overall supply chain capabilities. Implement LEAN inventory management methodologies and techniques Ensure Logistics exceed the needs of the Business Units and Customers, through effective action plan development and execution Ensure that all areas of logistics within their control have the right level of capability and resources, technology, skills, and support Manage the availability of transport capacity to manage business requirements and proactively work to manage the business plan/growth Manage all the suppliers to deliver required services through negotiation, contract management, and service review, and reduce costs including our own fleet Responsible for key performance metrics in the area of cost, cash, and service Manage all queries and requirements for Customs Clearance and coordinate accordingly with Legal, Regulatory, Internal Control, and other functions. Ensure logistics operations are compliant with QA, HS&E, Legal, and Internal control requirements for the company/local market Develop capable people through effective onboarding, training, and coaching. Manage people in line with the Company's principles, policies, and plans. Implement a continuous improvement program to develop new processes and implement efficient warehouse management Proactively work on assessing risk and prompt mitigation to meet business growth and business continuity Implement a capacity planning process to match the long-term business growth plans in terms of warehousing and transportation Managing close coordination with principles to ensure business requirements are met effectively. FMCG, Retail Industry, Sales & Distribution Organizations Analytical Skills Managed multi-brand/multi-SKU warehouse ( 10000 Pallet space) and /transportation operations in fast turnaround operations with a team size of 200-300 Exposure to cold chain operation Proficiency in MS Office. Warehouse operations and governance Transport planning and operations Project Management Supplier/vendor management Hands-on experience with SAP/ERP Systems/Warehouse Management Systems / Last Mile Delivery Management /Demand Planning and Forecasting Negotiation Leadership Team Management Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
