Job Description : MARKETING HEAD AUTO MALAYSIA ( OPEN TO EXPATS) A company is seeking a dynamic and strategic candidate for a Head of Marketing (Automotive) job to build, plan, execute, and manage the overall marketing strategy, platforms, and campaigns to help business increase brand awareness, generate more leads and improve customer engagement. About the Head of Marketing (Automotive) Role: Reporting to the Managing Director, you will build and execute a brand and marketing strategy and drive lead generating marketing campaigns and awareness in the countries to support sales while ensuring alignment with the company’s overall marketing and communication strategy and messaging. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy tailored to the automotive sector, with a focus on brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth Define target audiences, positioning, and competitive differentiation Stay updated on automotive industry trends and adjust strategies as needed Maintain and enhance the company's brand identity within the automotive industry Ensure consistency in branding across all marketing channels and materials Collaborate with the product development team to develop and execute effective product marketing strategies for automotive products Create compelling product narratives, positioning, and launch plans Oversee digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and content marketing, with a focus on promoting automotive products and services Utilise data-driven insights to optimise digital campaigns and maximise ROI Identify and manage opportunities for the company's participation in automotive events, shows, and sponsorships Leverage these activities to increase brand recognition and customer engagement in the automotive sector Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources Seek cost-saving opportunities and revenue-generating strategies Identify and develop strategic partnerships with automotive industry stakeholders, suppliers, and organisations to enhance brand recognition and drive business growth To succeed in this Head of Marketing (Automotive) role, you must have prior marketing and product launch experience in the automotive industry. Key Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field Minimum of eight years' experience in marketing, with at least three years in a leadership role Proven track record of successfully developing and executing product & marketing strategies in the automotive sector Fluency in written and spoken English and other local languages Excellent communication and presentation abilities Experience with modern marketing tools, platforms, and technologies
