Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Supply Chain Manager who possesses a deep understanding of demand planning and is adept at managing the end-to-end supply chain process. The ideal candidate should have a comprehensive knowledge of ordering products, negotiating with suppliers, and managing supplier contracts. The role requires proficiency in handling import and export documents, familiarity with carriers, vessels, air freights, and forwards, and an understanding of import duty regulations in various countries. Key Responsibilities: 1. Demand Planning: o Understand and analyze demand patterns to optimize inventory levels. o Collaborate with various departments to gather relevant data for accurate demand forecasting. 2. Ordering and Supplier Management: o Execute efficient ordering processes to maintain optimal stock levels. o Utilize negotiation skills to establish favorable terms with suppliers. o Manage supplier contracts and ensure compliance with agreed-upon terms. 3. Logistics and Documentation: o Oversee the import and export process, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. o Demonstrate knowledge of carriers, vessels, air freights, and forwards. o Stay informed about import duty regulations and charges in different countries. 4. Pricing and Costing: o Analyze pricing structures and costs to optimize profit margins. o Implement strategies to mitigate cost fluctuations and enhance cost-effectiveness. 5. Warehouse and Inventory Management: o Efficiently manage warehouse operations to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. o Implement inventory management best practices to minimize carrying costs. 6. Distribution and Delivery: o Develop and implement effective distribution strategies. o Ensure that deliveries are well-managed, meeting customer expectations. 7. Financial Acumen: o Apply financial knowledge to assess the impact of supply chain decisions on overall business performance. o Collaborate with the finance department to align supply chain activities with financial goals. 8. Analytical Abilities: o Utilize analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed decisions. o Implement continuous improvement initiatives based on data-driven insights. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field. • Proven experience in supply chain management with a focus on demand planning, supplier management, and logistics. • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage supplier relationships effectively. • Proficiency in import and export regulations, pricing, costing, and financial analysis. • Excellent analytical abilities and attention to detail. • Familiarity with warehouse management systems and distribution processes.
