Engineering Head

Job Description : ENGINEERING HEAD MADRID SPAIN Open to candidates eligible for EU work permit Multinational IPP leader in the renewable sector seeks to incorporate an Engineering Manager with at least 20 years of experience managing teams to develop and execute PV projects at the national level. Manage a multidisciplinary engineering team, made up of more than 15 people, to carry out large-scale PV projects, optimizing everything corresponding to the technical part from development to construction and interconnection. - Coordinate the team for the execution of activities, guaranteeing quality and compliance with deadlines, achieving the established key milestones. - Manage with the departments involved the definition of specifications and technical inputs for the preparation of budgets. - Direct report to the COO of the company. - Preparation and Supervision of basic engineering during the development phase, as well as Detail Engineering in more advanced phases. - Propose new engineering methods based on innovative technologies. - Support in solving problems during asset performance testing. - Manage external consultants. - Develop training programs for team members. - Search for methodologies to increase the profitability of projects. - Participate in the hiring and orientation of engineers. - Establish KPIs for the engineering department, as well as individually for each employee. - At least 10 years of experience in team management. - Excellent management and supervision capacity, as well as making decisions in the face of adversities. - High english level. - Great knowledge of the PV sector. - Leadership and ability to implement strategies to adapt to changes in the sector.
