Job Description : Head - Supply Chain & Logistics Roles & Responsibilities: This individual excels in strategic planning, operational leadership, and project management, emphasizing budgeting, financial management, and continuous improvement. Their expertise spans supply chain management, logistics, and technology utilization for cost-effective and responsive supply chains. They lead large-scale operations, including warehouse and transportation management, inventory control, and distribution logistics. Customer satisfaction drives their action plans, while supplier management focuses on cost reduction and key performance metrics. Compliance with quality, health, safety, and environmental standards is a priority, as is people management through effective onboarding and training. Proactive risk assessment, capacity planning, and stakeholder coordination contribute to their comprehensive approach. Overall, they ensure efficient logistics operations aligned with long-term business growth plans. Preferred Experience: FMCG, Retail Industry, Sales & Distribution Organizations Analytical Skills Managed multi-brand/multi-SKU warehouse ( 10000 Pallet space) and /or transportation operations in fast turnaround operations with a team size of 200-300 Exposure to cold chain operation Proficiency in MS Office. Warehouse operations and governance Transport planning and operations Project Management Supplier/vendor management Hands-on experience with SAP/ERP Systems/Warehouse Management Systems / Last Mile Delivery Management /Demand Planning and Forecasting Location: Oman Years of Experience - 20 to 30 Years
