Job Description : PROCUREMENT HEAD ZIMBABWE Company: Leading Steel Bar Manufacturing Qualifications: Engineering Degree with management or finance Experience: 5+ years Age Limit: 35-40 Years Job Profile * Procurement Head needed to coordinate all group companies' procurement and logistics requirements. Role includes compiling and executing inquiries and logistics for all imported and local spares, consumables & equipment. * Candidate must have experience in Industrial or Commercial Business * Devise and use fruitful procurement and sourcing strategies that are innovative, cost-effective, and incorporate the growing complexities and challenges within industry and market. * Plan and manage group logistics. * Source profitable suppliers and logistics partners and initiate partnerships. * Control spends and builds a culture of long-term saving on procurement and logistics costs. * Track and report on a monthly basis the key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness. * Manage technological systems that track the shipment, inventory and supply of materials, ensuring goods arrive in a timely fashion
