Chief Accountant

Job Description : CHIEF ACCOUNTANT ANGOLA a global player in the FMCG industry with a strong presence in Africa and Europe. Their operations include both manufacturing and distribution of consumer goods within Angola. Due to the expansion of their operations, they are actively recruiting a Chief Accountant to join their growing team in Luanda to effectively manage all the financial operations in Angola Reporting to the Finance Director and Chief Executive Officer, you are required to carry out the below duties: · Ensure accurate and complete bookkeeping, including general accounting, payables & receiveables , fixed assets & cost accounting · You are able to lead and motivate a team of accounting professionals · Working effectively with the Finance Director and the leadership teams on implementing financial strategies to reduce manufacturing costs · Prepare monthly financial reports, including budget forecasts and can present it to the executive team · Responsible for ensuring all the current accounting and tax standards for the company are in compliance with the Angolan jurisdictions You bring 10 years of working experience as a Chief Accountant that has worked in an FMCG or food manufacturing industry, preferably in Angola Bachelors degree in Accounting & Finance is preferred Excellent fluency in English & Portuguese is mandatory Advanced user of Microsoft Excel is a bonus Self -motivated individual who has leadership skills is an asset Must be willing to relocate to Luanda, Angola Expat package + accommodation and benefits
