Job Description : DIRECTOR PURCHASING KSA Location: Riyadh, KSA Experience: 12- 13 years of experience in a relevant field Job Summary: To oversee and optimize the procurement process related to all inbound logistics and customs clearance services. Ensure inbound logistics are procured at most optimized total cost; ensure import/export procedures, and strong Custom Clearance management. Lead a team to ensure the efficient and compliant movement of the Customs Clearance department Monitor cost control, planning, performance analysis, and data analytics, and contribute to the organization’s strategic objectives within set KPIs, budget, and respective policies and processes and Ensure subsidies and grants on imports are effectively realized: Direct the implementation of the annual business plan and targets and implement the strategic agenda of the Inbound Logistics department to deliver the company's vision and mission. Ensure that the strategy is translated into operational business plans for the Inbound logitics department and monitor the performance and execution of those plans to achieve functional objectives and deliver the Company's strategy. 2. Leadership Direct the activities of the team to ensure that all work is carried out efficiently, in line with the strategic project management plans, policies, and procedures. Build and lead a motivated, engaged, and competent team, by setting priorities and objectives, managing performance, and providing ongoing feedback and coaching to meet the functional challenges and goals. Serve as a role model to ensure employees' awareness and commitment to the company's? vision, mission, values, and corporate strategy to establish a highly engaged and motivated team, and continuously improve performance. 3. Budgeting - Lead the preparation of the department budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs/revenues, areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified, and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalized upon. Develop and execute a strategic sourcing plan for customs clearance services. Ensure Custom Clearance implements strategies to comply with all relevant customs laws and regulations. Collaborate with legal and regulatory affairs to address any customs compliance issues. Monitor and analyze costs associated with Inbound logistics, customs clearance services and identify cost-saving opportunities. Ensure cost-effective procurement processes while maintaining high-quality standards. Develop and communicate consolidated performance reports to senior leadership and provide critical information for internal business units Review and challenge performance to forecasted plans and provide suggestions on how to improve business performance. Manage and develop a team in terms of knowledge transfer, development, and maintenance of any needed policies and procedures to meet world-class standards of service Manage the development and implementation of the customs clearance policies, systems, processes and procedures, identifying potential areas for improvement, to ensure efficient and effective operation. Ensure compliance with corporate requirements on adherence to policies, procedures and instructions related to all relevant regulatory directives to ensure a safe and risk-free environment.
