Sales Head

Job Description : SALES HEAD UAE a leading trading and distributor of polymers seeks to hire ''Head of Sales'' to be based in UAE or India to champion African market. Potential candidate must possess excellent market knowhow within the geographies of Western and Central Africa. Successful incumbent must fulfil the below KRA's to be eligible for the role. Job Mission: Responsible for driving the Sales & Business Development portfolio in the assigned territories of the African Region. Principal Responsibility: Responsible for achieving volume budget. Responsible for New Clients addition year on year basis. Responsible New SKU’s/ Products to be added year on year basis. Negotiating and sending the offers and confirming the orders. Customer Relationship Management. Customer Visits and maintaining and submitting the Customer Visit report. Following up on Complaints and resolving them to customer satisfaction. Custodian for Customer Database. Customer Pipeline Management Payment follow up from the customers and keep a watch on credit limits sanction. Supply Chain Management - Coordination with logistics team to timely release of the shipments. Market Research and Competitor analysis. Development of new product in all applications of plastics production - injection, blown extrusion, blow Moulding, cast, compression Moulding etc. Team management, coaching & mentoring. Market Expansion Apart from the above, responsible for handling any other task or work assigned by the Reporting Authority. Responsible for managing credit in the market - responsible for volumes (MT/Gross margin) Educational Qualifications: Polymer/Chemical graduate, MBA/PG will be an added advantage. Knowledge and Experience: 15years in sales, business development and collection of polymer products and solutions. Export sales exposure. African terrain experience.
