Operations Manager

Job Description : FACTORY OPERATIONS MANAGER KUWAIT This is a full-time on-site role located in Ahmadi for a Factory Operation Manager. The role of the Factory Operation Manager includes managing the factory operations, overseeing production planning and scheduling, managing production staff, ensuring adherence to safety and quality protocols, and ensuring customer orders are met with quality products that are delivered on time and within budget. Leads Production, Product Development and Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Facility, and Fleet departments. Anticipates bottlenecks, clarifies project priorities, identifies risks, and escalates issues that cannot be internally resolved. Clearly defines all workflows, communicates documented processes, and ensures all practices are being refined and tuned with learnings. Works closely with the leads, sub-leads, and producers in gathering information and tracking progress against approved milestones. Works with the leads and production team to develop and track against a production plan reflective of the defined project goals as set by the studio creative director. Provides regular status reports and capacity plan updates to management and key stakeholders Identifies and implements the best tools and technologies to help manage workflow and optimizes their implementation and deployment. Responsible for maximizing efficiency and reducing unplanned shutdowns Ensures the company leads the markets with respect to the latest offerings and technologies Lead planned shutdown to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency Identifies processes that can improve project efficiency and act as a change agent for them. Contributes to long- and short-form integration proposals and topline concepts. Develop maintenance schedules and enforce them among maintenance staff Respond to emergency calls for maintenance Manage the setup and take down of different events Perform troubleshooting to solve minor repair issues Communicate plans for upper-level improvements to maintenance worker staff Contact and schedule repairmen and extra help as needed Delegate tasks to meet maintenance schedule and satisfy employer needs Manages the growth and success of the team Coordinates activities that affect operational decisions and business requirements Responsible for the production, procurement, and planning of daily operations Plans, schedules, and reviews workload and manpower to make sure targets are being met on a cost-effective basis Ensures the production team has enough time to manufacture and deliver products based on the client's request Organizes, plans, and implements inventory activity Confirms that health and safety regulations are followed Prepare and implement a succession plan for all key roles in operations · 12+ years' of experience in Husky and Injection Mold Machines · Experience in the Plastics Industry such as Thermoforming · Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or relevant Engineering field · Project Management · Problem Solving · ERP Experience · Presentation skills · Management and leadership skills · PET / Plastics Industry Background · Lean Manufacturing/ 6 Sigma Green Belt
