Job Description : MD NIGERIA for our agri-processing operations in Nigeria. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the entire spectrum of business operations, with a focus on driving commercial excellence while maintaining a solid understanding of the technical aspects of agri-processing. Key Responsibilities: · Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy to drive growth, profitability, and market leadership in the agri-processing sector. · Provide visionary leadership to align the organization with global industry trends and best practices. · Lead the commercial functions with an emphasis on sales, marketing, business development, and customer relationship management. · Identify and capitalize on market opportunities to expand the business and achieve revenue targets. · Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with key stakeholders in the agri-processing value chain. · Oversee financial performance, budgeting, and cost control measures to ensure sustainable business operations. · Implement financial strategies to optimize resources and enhance overall financial health. · Drive operational efficiency, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives. · Ensure compliance with industry regulations, quality standards, and safety protocols. · Maintain a solid understanding of agri-processing technologies and ensure the application of best practices in production and processing. · Collaborate with technical teams to align commercial strategies with operational capabilities. Qualifications: · Bachelor's degree in Agribusiness, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred. · Proven track record of at least 15 years in a senior leadership role within the agri-processing or related industries. · Strong commercial acumen with a track record of driving revenue growth and market expansion. · Sound understanding of agri-processing technologies and technical aspects of the industry. · Demonstrated success in strategic planning, financial management, and operational excellence.
