Job Description : Chief Operating Officer (Harare, Zimbabwe) looking for an experienced professional to join their team in the transport & logistics industry. Salary & Benefits: Negotiable Responsibilities The role is significant and important to the overall success of the operations Maintain control of diverse business operations, from warehouses to a strong growing fleet of 250 vehicles with 800 employees at 36 depots nationwide. and cover the following responsibilities, Cross Border Fleet Design and implement business strategies, plans and procedures Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth Establish policies that promote company culture and vision Oversee daily operations of the company and the work of the executive team Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication Evaluate performance by analysing and interpreting data and metrics Minimise KM/Asset at lowest CPK Ensure critical consumable supply chain is optimised Manage relationships with partners / vendors and others as required Key Skills: Experienced, charismatic, and efficient leader. Excellent people skills, business acumen and exemplary work ethics Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving Qualifications 10 Years’ Experience in Cross Border Fleet Management/Supply Chain/3PL
