Job Description : VP PROJECTS SRI LANKA Position of Vice President – Projects 1. Implementation of Strategy and Road-map published and approved by Government of Sri Lanka 2. Carrying out a Feasibility and conducting a Pilots . 3. Off-shore renewable energy development coordination. Job description The job description of the Vice President is basically classified into two areas: a) Finalise the milestones and deliverables after discussions with all key stakeholders and get client sign-off b) Develop overall Project master plan (MS Project) and carryout planning, scheduling periodic reviews including resource management c) Based on project plan and milestones design the MIS and carryout periodic reporting d) Achieving project milestones and addressing the expectation management with client e) Manage the Project on a day-to-day basis and network with all the key stakeholders in Sri Lanka. f) Stakeholder management and proactive interaction with all project partners – Government departments, institutions like Regulatory agencies and Ministry g) Planning, designing and Successfully completing the Pilot project with pre identified project partners in Mobility sector h) Implementing strategies to ensure productivity while also evaluating how well the project is being executed on various tasks within a specific time frame i) Periodic presentation of the project progress to Project Director and Steering Committee. j) Assisting the Project Director and Steering Committee and assisting in green funding and structuring green bonds for finding the project k) Project financial aspects and sensitivity analysis l) Risk assessment and economic impact of different execution options (decision-tree analysis) m) Business models to equitably divide risk and reward n) Capacity building and training of local individuals and institutions - what the oil and gas industry calls local content development o) Assisting you and Sturle to raise development Business development Strategy, Opportunity assessment, idea actualisation, conversion into specific transactions. In addition to the PDA-SL project, identifying new opportunities, New business models and nurturing appropriate relationship to result into a commercial contract Experience: Report to the Project Director and will be responsible to the Steering Committee along with the Project Director. The individual needs to have an Engineering degree with 10 to 15 years’ experience with an MBA preferable
