Project Head

Job Description : PROJECT HEAD NIGERIA · Provides technical support and lead a process team of the project during FEED And EPC phase and pre-commissioning and commissioning in the utilities area of, including but not limited to, cooling tower, boiler, instrument air compressors, nitrogen generation, DM water and BFW, fire water system and waste water treatment and effluent treatment systems. · To support the project team during construction phase and carry out site checks. · To support commissioning team during plant or unit start up. · To coordinate with project team and other department engineering to facilitate smooth progress of engineering work. · To perform other functions that may be assigned by department manager. · Lead and participate in major process studies e.g. HAZOP, SIL, HAZAN, PFD, P&ID reviews, during project development. · Verifying equipment process data sheet, plot plan, H&M( Heat and material ) balance, inherent SHE review, risk assessment 3D model review, relief system sizing and basic process engineering calculations. · Lead process engineering and optimization during PDP, FEED and EPC phases. · Provide process in depth input to other engineering function such as process safety, piping, rotating equipment , electrical and instrument and fixed equipment during the project development phases. · Provide MFG input (process and operations) during vendor evaluation and selection phase. Conducts technical assessment of engineering contractors deliverables to provide the optimum design. Qualification & Criteria : · Bachelor degree in chemical engineering. · 20+ Years related experience in utilities in green field petrochemical or refineries in the area of cooling tower, boiler, instrument air compressors, nitrogen generation, DM water and BFW and waste water treatment and effluent treatment systems. Sea water and RO plant exp is preferable. Experience in FEED and Detailed Engineering · Technical report writing. · Root cause analysis. · Analytical skills, planning and organizing skills.
