General Manager 

Job Description : General Manager – Procurement & Supply Chain for a Catering & Support Service company. Location – Abu Dhabi, UAE Salary – 43,000-45,000 AED/month + family benefits including schooling Requirements: Arabic Speaking preferred Experience of 15 years and above Procurement background but with Commercial experience F&B experience is preferrable Business Manager experience, with strong commercial acumen and knowledge of the market Good communication Responsibilities: Leadership: Oversee and lead the procurement and supply chain segment, providing strategic direction and ensuring effective team collaboration Strategy Development: Develop and implement procurement and supply chain strategies aligned with organizational goals, optimizing cost efficiency and supplier relationships Vendor Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and terms to secure favorable agreements Risk Mitigation: Identify and mitigate potential risks in the supply chain, implementing robust risk management strategies to ensure uninterrupted operations Process Optimization: Streamline procurement processes, introducing efficiency measures to enhance overall supply chain performance Budget Oversight: Manage and optimize budgets for procurement activities, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial targets Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards, fostering a culture of ethical and responsible procurement practices Innovation: Explore and implement innovative technologies and practices to improve procurement and supply chain operations Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of procurement and supply chain functions Collaboration: Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to align procurement and supply chain activities with overall business objectives Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives, fostering a culture of learning and adaptability within the procurement and supply chain segment
