Accounting Head

Job Description : ACCOUNTING HEAD HAMBURG GERMANY This role is open to candidates worldwide who speak fluent German and come with 15-20 years accounting experience In a dynamic set-up, you can contribute operationally and strategically, develop an existing team as a manager and be responsible for exciting project topics. • As Head of Accounting (m/f/d), you will take over the strategic and operational management of accounting at a national and international level • You will be responsible for and lead the current five-person accounting team both professionally and disciplinarily and will support you with your hands-on mentality in day-to-day operations • The preparation of forecasts, budget and liquidity planning as well as the financial statements and reporting are also part of your area of ??responsibility • You take on the commercial support of the subsidiaries, their consolidation and work closely with the external tax advisor • You act on strategic issues the management and the management board as a sparring partner and actively contribute to business development as a driver in your area • You ensure our quality standards for monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, create business analyzes for projects in accounting & financial reporting and form the interface to the specialist departments • In addition, you are the contact person for tax advisors, auditors, tax authorities and banks • Based on a successfully completed business degree or comparable training, you have extensive relevant professional and initial management experience, ideally in a private equity environment • You have professional expertise in the areas of finance/accounting, controlling and accounting as well as good IT -Understanding • You have at best experience with DATEV and Lucanet as well as in the further development of efficient processes and tools • You are characterized by a sense of responsibility, standing, assertiveness, strong social skills and a hands-on mentality • Your in-depth operational know-how is supported by your very good strategic skills, excellent communication skills and excellent time management
