Production Supervisor

Job Description : Factory Production Supervisor UAE The Factory Production Supervisor will be responsible to maintain overall Operation and Process as per requirement and Control cost of production by efficient management of available resources as per standards and safeguarding quality and safety of people and products. Incumbent will be responsible for managing the production team of 60-80 people Per shift. Roles & Responsibilities -Maintain overall Operation and Process as per requirement &Produce products volume as per agreed weekly cyclic and Monthly plan -Prepare production summaries on daily, weekly and monthly cyclic -Perform Monthly Cycle Count activity -Inventory Control -Managing Production planning, generate & issue to factory shop floor as and facilitate of production instructions by allocating appropriate resources -Cascade and execute production plan and adjust operational activities by situation assessment as per information and resources for optimum production performance (Manpower, Material and Machine) production attainment -Control cost of production by efficient management of available resources as per standards and safeguarding quality and safety of people and products -Responsible for developing and implementing of operating policies and procedures as per system requirements -Review process failures and execute continuous improvement activities by identifying opportunities, accessing proposals and implementation of notified practice -Ensure workplace safety and effective communication of Safety, Health, and -Environment to all team members -Measure, analyze and control Line Performance, material usage variance (raw / pack materials) by using available system/tools -Plan, coordinate and follow-up maintenance activities viz. routine changeover, periodic maintenance, and CIP / shutdown activities -Issuing and monitoring the KPI targets (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Morale and Sustainability to down the line team -Conducting monthly risk assessments & ensuring that all safety checklists are completed as per schedule -Coordinate with other departments for production related activities viz. trials, new product development and technical projects Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Process Efficiency OEE Waste Reduction Productivity Inventory Control New Product Development Down Time HSE Work Experience: 8-10 years of relevant experience in a food manufacturing factory only Qualifications Degree in B. Tech/B.E/M.E/MS/M. Tech/Post Graduate in Food Technology/Chemical Engg/Bio tech Skills: Communication Computer skills Customer service Interpersonal skills Leadership Management skills Problem-solving
