Production Engineer

Job Description : LASTIC PRODUCTION ENGINEER NIGERIA Manage and train the Production workers to ensure they are carrying out their responsibilities to the expectations of the organization, and to maintain a safe work environment for all workers. Manage & control manpower in Production, Finishing (Trimming), and Maintenance sections to ensure compliance with the companys procedures related to production and safety. Coordinate with the HR department to manage the workforce with regard to staffing and discipline. Prepare & implement Internal Work Procedure for Production, Trimming & Maintenance department. Ensure that the production plan prepared by the sales team is effectively implemented in the Production and Trimming departments. Assist & guide the Maintenance Team to ensure minimum Breakdown time. Ensure Productio Ensure that the finished goods output meets the quality standards set by the company. Ensure minimum downtime of machines, and minimum wastage of materials. Analyze rejection data and processing problems (on daily basis) and work with the team to rectify the problems and increase the output of the machines. Be able and willing to work on the machines directly to resolve machine and production related issues without delay. Train Production & Maintenance staff on resolving process & machine related problems. Conduct trials of raw materials as and when required, to ensure that the quality standards are being met. Conduct Quality Tests on the finished goods to comply with SON Guidelines. Engineering Degree required (Electrical (Preferred), or Mechanical), preferably with CIPET Qualification Minimum of 15 years hands on experience in Injection Moulding Process (Production and Maintenance) Minimum of 2 years experience in PET production. Minimum 2 years of work experience of Managerial Level. Key Competencies Good interpersonal skills- able to work well with others. Knowledge of Computer (familiar with MS office) Able to read and write reports and good verbal communication skills Able to learn about the machines, products, and processes quickly
