Factory Manager

Job Description : FACTORY MANAGER KENYA To run smooth operations of the Company. QUALIFICATIONS ? Minimum Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent ? Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel knowledge EXPERIENCE ? At least 10-15 years of plant management, production planning and maintenance. SKILLS/ KNOWLEDGE ? Good communication skills ? Highly numerate ? Planning and organising skills ? Ability to demonstrate leadership skills e.g. Plan, Organise, Supervise and Co-ordinate. ? Ability to identify the root cause of the problems and take corrective action ? Ability to audit all accounts and give comprehensive reports ? Ability to implement the Quality Management System as applied in the department ? Reports to: Directors. ? Control all the operations and maintain good housekeeping in the premises. ? Develop and execute plans and strategy for the factory to be more systematic and organized. ? Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions, Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise in the production process. ? Guide technical teams to plan production activities, production meetings, and machine maintaining schedules, worker schedules and budget maintenance schedules and quality of products. ? Guide the production leads to increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards; ensure compliance to production processes. ? Liaise with suppliers, clients, and senior management to ensure alignment with organizational goals. ? Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and technological advancements. ? Implement new technologies and systems to enhance production efficiency and product quality. ? Manage the factory's budget and control operating costs without compromising quality or safety. ? Analyze production data to identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements. ? Control over the periodic maintenance and check over uncertain breakdown of machines for uninterrupted production ? Stress over the energy conversation to reduce the cost of production. ? Check over the losses, direct and indirect, time to time have meetings with the plant supervisors and operators for their visual suggestions to minimize the losses and improve efficiency of the plant. ? Daily discussion with purchase and marketing staff to synchronize between raw material requirements and production of finished goods as per the market requirement. ? Planning of proper inventory in Engineering and packaging material stores ? To understand and implement the Quality Management System as per the ISO & HACCP system as applicable in the Factory ? To perform any other duties that may be assigned to you by the management
