Job Description : COUNTRY HEAD THAILAND FOR AUTO ( OPEN TO EXPATS) A Thailand Country Lead (1x vacancy) role has just become available at a leading global company providing a business solutions for the Automotive Industry in Thailand. Reporting directly to Head of ASEAN, you will be responsible for leading Thailand P& L, sales strategy aligned to corporate strategy and taking account local specifics, developing and executing sales strategies, and driving revenue generation. The Country Lead will be responsible to manage and grow company service portfolio in Thailand and definition of Thailand sales strategy aligned to corporate strategy and taking account local specifics be responsible for the communication of the corporate strategy to the local Thailand team and to the customers base when relevant, implementation of the strategy at local level. You will be report directly to the Market Lead forASEAN. This role offers a competitive base salary with attractive benefits. Overall leadership and motivation of the team Management of local operations on the on-going basis, inclusive of recruitment, training, assessment and appraisal, legal and fiscal affairs, facilities management when applicable, business operations inclusive of internal management and customers’ interface management Delivery of all client projects in Thailand effectively, efficiently and results oriented Quality management and customer satisfaction for all projects. Implementation of local sales and growth strategy with annual targets allocated by the regional and global management team. The sales and growth strategy will cover the 8 value stream products and services of the company Managing the local branding, marketing and communication Prospecting potential customers, into operations and purchase environment Establishing, presenting and negotiating quotations and services’ offers Budgeting and forecasting, accounting (supported by partner) and invoicing, cost control and profit optimisation, customer payments, cashflow optimisation as possible To succeed in this role, you must have good communication skills in English. Bachelor’s Degree or higher; an MBA is preferred 10 years in leadership role with proven experience as a Country Manager or in a similar senior management role in an international consulting firm environment Five years in automotive dealership experience Proven business growth and business turnaround leadership Financial acumen and experience in budget management Experience with data analysis and reporting Expertise and in-depth knowledge of automotive industry background and solutions and the digital industry Strong leadership, strategic thinking, organisational skills and team management skills with a track record of building and developing successful teams Strong business development and project management skills Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities with an ability to work with people at multiple levels both internal and external of the organisation Self-starter with strong work ethic and ability to work on a few potential deals at a given time Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders Own strong quantitative and analytical skills; ability to analyse complicated issues Be able to make the tough decision and have strong managerial courage Willingness to travel as needed within country/ the region
