General Manager Human Resources

Job Description : GM HR NORTH AFRICA This is for an European manufacturing company and open to suitably qualified candidates worldwide Age - Below 50 Years - Minimum 18 years of experience in HR & IR, of which minimum 3-5years should have been in - leadership Roles managing corporate HR. - Candidates with FMCG exposure would be given prefer - The role Holder will report to The Executive Director. - Ability to Speak in Tamil and English is mandatory and knowing Hindi would be an added advantage - Preference will be male candidates. Responsibilities : - Responsible for leading and driving the HR Functions for enabling business to achieve its desired objectives. - Responsible for driving the HR Strategy in line with the Business plan for achieving the organizational goals. - Enable the organization to achieve its business results through best practices and partner with business in driving operational Excellence. - Advise the management in identifying Organisational Development initiatives and recommend appropriate OD intervention tools. - Responsible for Talent creation, Talent acquisition, Talent development, Talent retention and employee engagement as per Group Standards. - Responsible for corporate communication and employee communication in line with Group Communication standards. - Establishing the yearly & perspective business plan & budgets and ensure effective utilisation as per the business plan. - Responsible for diving Manpower norms at organisational levels and ensure the same is approved by the Leadership team in-line with the Business plan. - Based on the Organisational goals fix KRA's for the next level managers in Corporate HR - Drive employee engagements initiatives, R & R schemes which reflect the Core values of the business, which enhances organisational productivity. - Periodically review the HR policies and recommend changes to the Leadership team as appropriate in consultation with Group HR. - Ensure compliance of QMS and ISO processes. - Ensure 100% compliance of all the statues pertaining to HR both at regional level & corporate level. - Drive Functional excellence across HR verticals in improving HR Productivity. - Work with Group HR as a sounding board on various HR initiatives as and when required for achieving HR Excellence. - Responsible for driving HSE across the organisation. - Review, respond & address audit (People related) remarks which are critical in nature. - Responsible for motivating and developing team members for effectively enhancing their capabilities. - Enable team members to perform better by providing timely feedback, conducting structured performance development reviews and setting clear KRAs and provide inputs for development.
