Job Description : HOTEL MANAGER GHANA 4* hotel which is undergoing expansions to have a total of 50 rooms. They are looking for a qualified and experienced manager to run this for them. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional customer service expertise, and a thorough understanding of hotel management. As the Hotel Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel's daily operations, maintaining high standards of service, and fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Salary: market related + benefits Responsibilities: Oversee and coordinate all hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage services Implement and monitor efficient and cost-effective operational systems Ensure adherence to standards and procedures to maintain the quality of service Foster a guest-centric culture to ensure exceptional customer service Train staff in customer service best practices to enhance overall guest satisfaction Develop and implement staff training programs to enhance skills and knowledge manage the hotel budget, ensuring financial targets are met Monitor and control expenses while maximizing revenue opportunities Implement cost-effective measures without compromising service quality Develop and implement emergency procedures and protocols Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards Regularly inspect facilities to identify and address potential safety hazards Key skills Strong leadership and organisational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Exceptional customer service expertise Proven experience as a Hotel Manager or in a similar role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a franchised/branded hotel chain who can bring their experience to the role A solid background in food and beverage Good housekeeping knowledge Knowledge of hotel management software and reservation systems Understanding of financial and budgetary principles Qualification in Hotel / Hospitality Management or a related field Proven experience as a Hotel Manager or in a similar role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a franchised/branded hotel chain who can bring their experience to the role A solid background in food and beverage Good housekeeping knowledge Knowledge of hotel management software and reservation systems Understanding of financial and budgetary principles Qualification in Hotel / Hospitality Management or a related field
